It's beautifully shot, have some strong performances, and sends a powerful message about the essence of every human being - freedom - and how it's being radically oppressed by the system. At moments and some particular scenes it's even painful to watch.

The whole film and story eerily evokes today's times we live in, so it's even more important because of that.

The film is also a candidate for the Oscar for Best International Feature (former Foreign Language category), so hopefully it performs well during this award season.
