Charles Manson - a man with many faces and even more stories. The sad low point of his "work" was the murder of seven people on August 9th and 10th, 1969, by his followers of the so-called "Manson Family". Manson is serving a life sentence as a result. During this time, he is repeatedly visited by media representatives who interview him. These interviews shed light on Manson's nature and his philosophy. He has a pull on the people around him and also fascinates and manipulates the people who interview him. "Devil's Advocate" deals with this figure in an unusual way. The title character appears as the personified devil's advocate and wants to rehabilitate Manson.
