A PowerPoint Presentation Masquerading as a Documentary

I have to admit, I found this so-called documentary by accident while searching for Disney's "Music by John Williams." I figured, hey, a film about one of the greatest film composers of all time-how bad could it be? Turns out, pretty bad. John Williams: A Legacy in Sound (2024) isn't so much a documentary as it is a glorified high school PowerPoint presentation stretched into 45 minutes of nonsense. It's an uninspired montage of a single talking head saying things we already know: John Williams is a genius. His music is timeless. Here are some famous people agreeing with that. He was nominated for an academy award, over and over again.
