Hmmm You Got Mail?
Well if you ever seen You Got Mail with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, it's just like that just with cars. The script of how things happen is so identical it's crazy, like did they not think nobody would notice smh. The movie is kinda plan and very cheesy at times, you do get into it a little though because of the characters however it falls pretty flat and the You Got Mail thing was disappointing.
Omg get a bra charlie
Such a weak story. Some cute characters but christ get the lead actress a bra. Who works as a mechanic in slinky singlet with no bra. Eugh.
Typical big business against little business with relationship angst. Clean mechanics and cliches are rife here.
Maybe enough to fill a bored Sunday afternoon.

Entertaining
Look is this winning any oscars?? Absolutely not.
This is not why were here.
This is exactly the romcom im loooking to watch on a weekend when theres absolutely nothing else to watch. You know what? This was 10x better than the map that leads to you. The acting is also good. Everyone here knows how to act the only issue is the dialogue provided. Which is cringe and cheesy. But thats ok with me.
So overall? Good job amazon mgm!
Also this movie has VERY attractive people in it. And i will ALWAYS watch a show/movie with actors who are attractive.
I would like to watch the actor who plays Beau in more things from here on out.

It has that 90s romance feel.
Director Lacey Uhlemeyer's debut romantic comedy arrives from Amazon MGM Studios. The film offers a grounded romance, often evoking the feeling of watching a classic '90s film.
The chemistry between leads Madelaine Petsch and Jacob Scipio is undeniable, and they're the ones who make this romance a pretty decent piece of entertainment in terms of its dynamics and fun. It's not a film that's going to revolutionize the genre, but it has the charm of offering a heartwarming story that works as a good diversion, for both genre fans and non-fans. A story about cars and love always works, especially if the cast is committed.
The truth is, it's not a film for everyone; if you're a fan of the genre, it'll be a great hook, but if you're looking for something more complex, this isn't the one for you. It's a romance with a clear storyline that doesn't try to add additional nuances. However, this doesn't mean it's boring; on the contrary, it works perfectly as a good pastime to enjoy in company. It lives up to the hype of entertaining, although it won't be remembered as one of the year's greats. Still, it's a platform film that delivers for anyone who wants to watch it without any major pretensions.
Thanks to the chemistry between its leads, a few entertaining supporting characters, and a believable, well-crafted romance, the film fulfills its goal of being good entertainment for the casual viewer.

Feel like I just got tricked into watching a hallmark movie
Could have been a cool take on the story. Instead it's like every fake cliche out there. Fantasy hot red head who is allergic to bras, corporate bro living in mansion, suddenly starts raining just because she's crying, gay best friend... ugh, I cringed and rolled my eyes more than anything. Pretty bad guys, come on.

- TriviaYou've Got Mail (1998) is a remake of The Shop Around the Corner (1940). This is a remake of both.
- GoofsNear the end when they meet up at the cafe, the extra sitting behind Charlie while she stands and talks to Beau changes from a woman with short blond hair to a man with long black hair in the same chair and then back again between cuts.
