There is an excited atmosphere on the farm since Aftur Nerdrum can give birth at any moment

This series follows Odd Nerdrum, known for his dramatic paintings and his fearless criticism of contemporary art, and his family for a little over a year. Viewers get a rare insight into life on the farm outside Stavern, where Nerdrum lives with his wife Turid Spildo, their adult children, children-in-law and grandchildren. Nerdrums personally selected students who come from all over the world also lives there. On the farm, the family lives in line with the classic values and outside the established Norwegian society. Here we witness the intense passion for art and life in one very special family. A family that fights to open a separate museum for Odd Nerdrums art. The Italian student Francesca comes to the farm and the Nerdrum school. Odd has had over 300 students and it has had an impact on the family.

The whole family goes to the house in Helsingborg to paint. Öde talks about a sometimes difficult childhood.

Odd is going to exhibit in Poland and things don't go quite according to plan. Aftur and Daniel have a date night and are free from the kids, while Bork and Jikke take care of the farm

Odd is applying to The Autumn Exhibition and is excited to see if he gets accepted. He is also inviting contemporary artist Bjarne Melgaard to visit the farm.

Odd hates Christmas, while Aftur is the Christmas queen on the farm. Turid sets a goal to do as little as possible. For Öde, the Christmas holiday only leads to extra stress.

Odd's paintings are going into the museum, but there is a lot of disagreement about the selection. Odd is turning 80 and work is being done at full speed to get the museum ready for opening.
