Secret Amazon: Into the Wild

When everything you see on tv these days is watered down and sugar coated this 2 part exploration of the untouched rainforest is a breath of fresh air (pun intended). Lucy gets in there with her companions and shares a unique view of true exploration unlike anything I can recall seeing in my 45 years in this planet. I was sad when it was over and even sadder to find there wasn't more from this team on IMDB because I would pay to watch more from Lucy and her team. I fully recommend this 2 part exploration, just watch out for the bushmaster snakes, if you don't see them you sure will hear their whistle :)

Earnest and well filmed adventure, but a big problem was the constant talk and panic about "whistling snakes".

This is embarrassing since it was a constant theme in this doc!

At some point researchers dispelled this myth and narrowed down the sound as normal frogs or toads.

Snakes don't have the ability to whistle!!

This really ruined this documentary! Really expected more from a well funded Ch 4 production!

The host was very sweet and earnest and well meaning, and yes the filming of ACTUAL remote wilderness was worth watching.

Too bad the production didn't add a correction before they released this and perpetuating an absurd myrh.
