    Incredibly good episode

I can't really say much else about this episode, it was just so good!

Shonen action manga like this usually have fights which go so similar - 1v1, usually flying around, slamming against walls, cracking the floor as they jump, the animation is good don't get me wrong but sometimes the Shonen genre is guilty of not trying new fight formats.

So how happy I was to see today an attempt to make a chase scene! I've obviously seen chases before in anime (the most memorable being the highway star episode of Jojo part 4), but usually there's only a few tricks used to outrun the super fast character and that's it. Instead of the generic few tricks, Dandadan used the simple abilities of the characters in so many different ways, and in the process of the chase got such a wide range of scenes you'd have to marvel at their creativity. This episode does not go the way you'd expect to get to the outcome you'd expect - it really pads out the chase with questionable decision making combined with quicker thinking and I have to appreciate that immediately.

Not only this, but the animation was some of the best in the year - they really pulled out all the stops. Running is so hard to animate, as shown by the issues of anime like Blue Lock so to have a whole episode of nothing but running has really put aside any doubts (not that the Science Saru track record for animation isn't incredible). It made the episode feel faster and got your heart racing precisely because of the animation. As well as this, the soundtrack was great?! Pulling out the remix of the William Tell Overture was not what I expected. But that madness matches the show as a whole. Crazy ideas, crazier execution.

10/10. This is shaping up to be one of my favourite anime already and I've watched A LOT.

    Brilliant

This episode of Dandadan is simply brilliant-I don't even have the words to describe everything I felt while watching it.

I knew going in that it was going to be a dynamic and fast-paced episode, but it still managed to surprise me. The way it plays with visuals is genius. The color changes based on the characters' emotions and the atmosphere of each scene were so vivid. During the intense, frantic moments, we see bold shades of red, heightening the rush of the action. Then, as soon as things calm down, cooler colors take over, giving us a brief moment to breathe. That contrast added so much to the overall impact of the episode.

As for the animation-it's absolutely perfect! The quality doesn't dip for a second, even in the comedic bits. The angles they used during the action scenes were creative and exciting, drawing you deeper into the chaos. There's something about Dandadan's visuals that feels fresh and alive, from the energetic battles to the smallest details that make the humor land even harder.

But what really stood out to me was how they avoided typical shonen tropes. In most shows, you'd expect a straightforward 1v1 battle, but Dandadan gave us something different. Instead of a predictable showdown, we got a wild chase sequence that kept me guessing. Every character's unique abilities were used in such clever ways, making the whole chase unpredictable and full of inventive moments. It didn't follow the path you'd expect but still delivered an outcome that felt satisfying.

On top of all that, the soundtrack was amazing. The music perfectly matched the chaos and heightened the intensity of the episode. There were some bold choices in the music, just like in the animation, but they all worked together to capture the wild, unpredictable tone of the show. The frenetic pacing combined with the soundtrack and visuals made everything feel so fast, keeping your heart racing throughout.

All in all, this episode is a clear 10/10. Everything-from the animation to the soundtrack to the storytelling-was done with so much dedication and creativity. It ended this arc in a way that left me excited for what's next. Dandadan is truly shaping up to be one of my favourite animes.

    Dandadan is a magic anime!

This episode is simply brilliant, I have no words to describe everything I felt.

I already imagined that this would be a dynamic and frenetic episode, but it really surprised me.

The color change based on the place and feeling that the characters are feeling is very vivid, all this rush of the episode is demonstrated with shades of red, and when we finally relax for a moment, cold colors appear again.

I don't even need to talk about the animation, it's perfect! The angles are incredible along with the quality of the animation that doesn't leave anything to be desired even in the comedy moments.

This episode is a clear 10/10, everything is done with great dedication and it certainly ended the beginning of the story wonderfully.

    Amazing episode

This episode of dandadan was very very good I love the animation really and the lighting being red and everything makes it better than black and white(I read the manga) and I don't usually agree that manga>anime but manga really did it better overall a very entertaining episode of this doesn't win best anime of 2024 then it is rigged.

I especially loved how the anime captured the energy and excitement of the manga. The action scenes were even more intense, and the humor was spot on. I also appreciated how the anime added some new details and perspectives that weren't in the manga.

Overall, this was an amazing episode of Dandadan. I can't wait to see what the rest of the series has in store.

This anime is just getting better and better!

With each pasning episode, this anime is only growing on me, showing more and more of its potential and development!

This episode was one great ride from beginning to end, as we are thrown right into the action, where the prrvious episode ended! The goal is simple, but turns into one amazing and fun show off qbilities and premise!

The animation was just incredible honestly! So many fluent scenes with characters jumping qnd flying in such a smooth qnd natural manor! It reminded me of the action in JJK for example! Great colour, and some really detailed shots at times!

Soundtrack was also really good and used perfectly to create these Weird action scenarious!

The end was great too, and really show how the relationship between our two main characters have developed!
