In 2022, after the start of the war, in the spring, the main character, Kalyna, a contemporary women from the western city of Ukraine - Lviv, experiences severe anxiety when her boyfriend Ivan go off on the front line. But she hides it well from people, putting on the mask of a proper girl, which she gets used to well. The mask, a set of actions of a proper woman, for a while, serves as a lifeline away from feelings and anxieties. Kalyna starts sending videos to Ivan of her daily activities in the format of a web journal. Kalyna receives "support" from her mother, who visits her regular, and a friend who shares personal experience and advises her on what to do-specifically, take intimate photos and videos for her boyfriend to support him. Kalyna performs these actions under social pressure, falling more and more into self-hate. In a psychotherapy session, Kalyna recognizes her concerns, which serves as the first step for self-love.
