Land of Lost Toys

The filmmakers take us on a journey through their hometown of Detroit, showing a day-in-the-life style narrative of local dog rescuers. Detroit in particular suffers from cold winters, when dumped dogs are most at risk of death. This film also includes a backyard breeder's side of the story which was a surprising and welcome addition, especially as they presented him in a neutral perspective, allowing the audience to make their own minds up. It ends with optimism and an action step, namely fostering, which is absolutely necessary. Awesome work by these guys and a big (necessary) step in publicizing the stray dog epidemic that is not only nationwide but worldwide.
