Gekijô-ban Nintama Rantarô Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyô no Gunshi

PLOT: Doi Hansuke Sensai disappears and everyone at Ninja Academy is desparate to find him. When they do, it's not the happy reunion they expected.

I've never seen the original series so I can't provide any comparison to that. It's the Standard Formula seasoned with some humor and heart in all the right places at all the right times. This story gives you exactly what you'd expect. The pacing is good, never slow, and there's no issue with unnecessary filler or fluff. Young kids will likely enjoy this a lot.
