All Belinda ever wanted is a perfect life, nothing more than what anyone would asked for; a perfect home, loving husband and adorable children to extend the family legacy but when the day came to give this dream a chance to become reality, she turns down a marriage proposal with her sweetheart Damien, a perfect gentleman.

April Nineteen tells the story of a young lady who is privilege to have a glimpse of her future with the man she desired to spent the rest of her life with.

Damien from all assessment is everything any woman would wish for in a man except one who saw the future as did Belinda.

A night before April 19th, which is Belinda's birthday, she had a dream of her life from start to finish with Damien. They were happily wedded and everyone celebrated their union. In fact, it was one wedding that was highly celebrated on all social platforms but not long after then, things starts to fall apart and Damien becomes her worse nightmare.

In that dream, Belinda saw in detail how her life and Damien's was spent until her death. It was an experience she would not want to embrace in real life. So when Damien proposed on her birthday, before the most important people in their lives, no one would understand why she turned him down. Her parents, aside their friends were most offended and embarrassed by her refusal to marry Damien.

As popularly said, 'not all that glitter is gold' Belinda would rather live a solitary life with her fingers bare than accept a diamond ring that would keep her confide to darkness forever.
