John Simcoe (Samuel Roukin) originally died in the pilot, but after the series was picked up it was decided to re-shoot his death so the character could live on in the series.

Goofs
Cabbage is harvested in the fall. The scene showing the discovery of grubs shows lush green vegetation instead of fall colors if not bare trees.
