Again with a near flawless episode in this season.
Right after being done with arguably the most important episode of the season [Ep.12 Regulus Corneas], we are feasting with yet another 10/10 episode.
Incredible animation, which features Vincent Chansard, whom previously worked on One Piece as a top tier animator in the anime industry. And we are blessed with the single best action sequence in Re:ZERO to date thanks to his amazing talent.
Features incredible voice acting, like always. They never miss.
And above all, great adaptation from the source material by Studio White Fox, as always.
We are blessed with, most likely, the best season of Re:ZERO to date--with the best adaptation and animation we have gotten thus far. Amazing episode for an amazing series.

So I don't want to be biased but I love garfs character and I stand by that and I want to be honest I didn't expect much from this anime you know I always considered a mid anime but this episode is great and it definitely amazed me from the gorgeous animation to the unbelievable tension and spectacular character development definitely deserves the 9.6 score give it a watch beside I kind of like ALs secretive character and by the way don't get me started on the sound tracks gosh dang it they DID NOT NEED TO GO THIS HARD and the voice acting is amazing I didn't thought that I would see such an amazing fight scene and it hypes us for the next episode too.
I don't care what anyone says, Vincent Chansard is, in my opinion, the greatest animator in all of anime, and just like always, his animation in this is absolutely stunning. I wish all the other episodes in this series had as incredible animation as this. Thanks to Vincent Chansard, there's not a single episode in this series that comes close to this level of animation. I'm also starting to notice that since Season 2, this series always gives its best animation to Garfiel's battles, which makes sense since he is one of the strongest characters in the series. Anyway, this is easily the best episode of Season 3, and I hope that whenever we get Season 4, we'll get animation as good as this in at least one episode!

I really was not expecting Re: Zero to have Chansard animate an episode. I've loved his work in other shows and I think he does deliver great animation near the end of the episode. Sure the choreography could have been done better, the impact frames were incredible. The fight between Garfiel and Kurgan was most likely my favorite fight of the show; Garfiel winning does not feel contrived and the episode as a whole doesn't have major flaws. The episode without a doubt is the best of the season so far and does reach the high expectations I had for Re: Zero. Overall, I'd give the episode a 9.5/10.
Vincent Chansard on Re:Zero??? I don't know what to say, this is something I have never ever imagined in my life. I was happy with the action we got in this Season so far, consistent clean fights with some even better cuts here and there but this was a whole other dimension. The Garfiel vs. Kurgan fight, for me, is not only the best fight of the Anime of Re:Zero but also one of the best animated sequences I have ever seen in Anime. I'm literally speechless. Setting this all aside, seeing Garf end his trauma with Elsa was a great little Anime only scene I really appreciated. Also, the Al vs. Capella scene was also animated very well and showed how unexpectedly strong Al can be but also how terrifying Capellas ability is. I am incredibly happy and Grateful for this Episode and I hope with all I've got that Vincent will come back in the future. Our stars were great.
