I have to say I didn't go into this with the highest expectations - I thought a show focusing on privileged people in a tight knit community might grow jarring and whilst some characters were definitely more likeable than others. I found the premise of the show to be quite captivating.

The show has a high element of mystery, with the viewer constantly unsure of who is telling the truth and who they can trust. This feeling will keep you guessing until the very last episode. Whilst I agree with a similar review that some elements of the story feel rushed and could have been implemented alittle more throughout the entire show - the concluding story was overall interesting and did keep me guessing. I thoroughly enjoyed the final episode specifically, however I found myself intrigued and paying 110% attention throughout.

I don't think it will be everyone's cup of tea but as someone who enjoys an easy-watch whilst being able to make my own predictions throughout the show, I would highly recommend.

So wild cherry honestly I thought the acting was quite good the story had mystery throughout the ending was satisfying but could have been explained a bit more however I think it is left open for a second series. What the series does well is explore different types of relationships and how different people interact with one another. Overall I enjoyed the story getting to know the characters it brings important topics to the limelight especially around teenagers and the dangers of social media. It is a watch that adults especially parents I think will find fascinating especially if they have teenage kids.

Im a male. I saw the BBC interview yesterday morning. I found Charlie odd and reserved. The interview was unusual. The writer seemed unclear. StumbIed across a london gated community. I binged the first episides. Now i wonder whether the story was wholy researched or the writer has some historic trauma. Im glad it didnt seem to show men as always the perpetrators. But i found it disrespectful to mothers. Still watching. Its good writing just think the writer should be closer to the subject and explain more in interviews because theres a lot of young women, men, mums, dads that could take this the wrong way. And why dies fizz have to be black. The writer should open up.

I don't normally write reviews after about 25% of the first episode, but the much awaited first is utterly unwatchable! If the Beeb think this is the way forward for adult watching at prime slots, they are sadly misguided. The storyline is so poor, it's laughable and not because it's funny! The characterisations are thin and stereotypical. The script appears to have been written by teenager! Awful.

I honestly don't understand why people would give it one star! Such a good portrait of rich and empty and today's youth! It also has you guessing what happens and it is not clear all the way until the end. Quite a lot of twists and turns as well! I would like seeing more shows like this. Also, the right amount of episodes.
