So wild cherry honestly I thought the acting was quite good the story had mystery throughout the ending was satisfying but could have been explained a bit more however I think it is left open for a second series. What the series does well is explore different types of relationships and how different people interact with one another. Overall I enjoyed the story getting to know the characters it brings important topics to the limelight especially around teenagers and the dangers of social media. It is a watch that adults especially parents I think will find fascinating especially if they have teenage kids.

The cast delivers excellent performances across the board, supported by strong writing and a well-crafted script. While the final couple of episodes include a few quick "pull-togethers" that feel slightly rushed - particularly some subplots that could have been established earlier on - the series as a whole still makes for a fantastic weekend binge.

And Nicôle Lecky? She's an exceptionally talented woman whose work I'll absolutely be keeping an eye on. I'll gladly invest my time in anything she creates again!

Does the American narrator, an outsider commentating on the strange Brits, indicate that this is targeted at the US market?

Is it meant to be a kids programme, because it is remarkably tame and the adults are empty shell stereotypes?

The woman who comes from a rich family, apparently out of the blue, writes a book on raising teenagers that sounds like some sort of vanity press offering. It's all ridiculously unbelievable.

Im a male. I saw the BBC interview yesterday morning. I found Charlie odd and reserved. The interview was unusual. The writer seemed unclear. StumbIed across a london gated community. I binged the first episides. Now i wonder whether the story was wholy researched or the writer has some historic trauma. Im glad it didnt seem to show men as always the perpetrators. But i found it disrespectful to mothers. Still watching. Its good writing just think the writer should be closer to the subject and explain more in interviews because theres a lot of young women, men, mums, dads that could take this the wrong way. And why dies fizz have to be black. The writer should open up.

I don't normally write reviews after about 25% of the first episode, but the much awaited first is utterly unwatchable! If the Beeb think this is the way forward for adult watching at prime slots, they are sadly misguided. The storyline is so poor, it's laughable and not because it's funny! The characterisations are thin and stereotypical. The script appears to have been written by teenager! Awful.
