Exclusive: Rabbits Black, one of the key financiers of troubled indie movie Lone Wolf, has gone separate ways from company partner Sean Krajewski.
The company confirmed to Deadline that Krajewski is “no longer associated with Rabbits Black,” but declined to comment on the reason for the exec’s recent departure, which comes at a time when project Lone Wolf, which Krajewski was closely involved in putting together, is under the microscope due to its financing falling apart. As we have reported, the project has been in limbo for months due to funding issues. Star Bryan Cranston told us last week that he won’t return to filming until all cast and crew are paid outstanding wages.
Rabbits Black has told us multiple times that it met all of its contractual financial obligations related to Lone Wolf, and the company is understood to be part of the ongoing effort to get the project finished.

Bryan Cranston is halting all work on his next thriller, Lone Wolf, as a behind-the-scenes crisis has left cast and crew unpaid. Mark Pellington's Lone Wolf co-stars Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone, also featuring O'Shea Jackson Jr., Jennifer Ehle, and Spence Garret. The film follows a mysterious hitman who recruits a woman for a covert government plot to assassinate a high-level politician.
Per Deadline, a financial collapse involving one of the production partners has left many of the cast and crew without pay for weeks of work. Cranston was nearing the end of production when this was revealed. In a statement to Deadline, Cranston revealed that while he has been paid, he's refusing to finish filming or take part in any promotion until everyone involved in the production is fully compensated.

When you work, you're supposed to get paid. As simple as that sentence is, in the movie business, sometimes things happen that make being paid a stressful challenge. Usually, those hardships fall onto the lesser-known cast members and crew members who work long, tiresome hours to bring a production to an audience. The stars of a project work hard too, but they're usually paid, and most times don't have to worry about when their checks are coming. This is why it's imperative for those in higher positions to stand by their fellow cast and crew members, just like Bryan Cranston. The actor is starring in an indie film, Lone Wolf, that has had a few financial setbacks, and he's speaking out about the situation.
Cranston has spent decades building a resume full of credits that span all areas, including television, movies, music videos, theater, and more. His ability to be...

Bryan Cranston will not return to film Lone Wolf until the rest of the cast and crew are paid. The Breaking Bad actor admitted he is "distressed" by the challenges facing the movie, whose shoot came to an abrupt halt some months ago, as Deadline revealed there is a $2 million shortfall in funding, meaning crew, vendors and some actors are still owed at least one week's wages and filming is not yet complete. And now Bryan - who confirmed he has been paid - has pledged not to work on, or promote, Lone Wolf until the situation has been resolved and said he believes co-star Lily Gladstone feels the same way.He told the outlet: "It is very unfortunate that this intriguing little story was sideswiped by a few incidents that temporarily derailed the film’s production. The hotly-anticipated thrillerLone Wolf starring Bryan Cranston just ran into a major production issue.
Per Deadline, cast, crew members, and vendors who worked on Lone Wolf have reportedly gone unpaid, with the project facing what is reportedly a $2 million shortfall that needs to be made up before production on the film can resume. The report notes that the film's lead actors, which include Cranston and Lily Gladstone, are not among those affected, and that the film's financiers are currently working to close the funding gap in question.
Producer Jordan Wagner, who leads Wagner Media Finance, reportedly told Deadline, "This process has been extremely challenging and, at times, frustrating. We originally stepped in to provide a short-term bridge loan to support the producers and financiers, based on contractual assurances that our capital would be repaid within a matter of months. However, after fully funding our loan, the production encountered significant complications,...

Exclusive: Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon) is another new addition to Amazon MGM Studios’ reimagining of The Thomas Crown Affair, to be directed by and star Michael B. Jordan.
No word yet on the role to be played by Gladstone. Oscar winner Kenneth Branagh is another new addition to the cast, as we told you earlier this morning, when Oscar-winning producer Charles Roven announced his involvement with the project, as well. Jordan and Taylor Russell lead the cast of the film, which shoots this summer and is slated for an exclusive theatrical release on March 5, 2027.
While plot details are being kept under wraps, both the original 1968 film from United Artists and the 1999 remake from MGM were heist stories revolving around a wealthy, thrill-seeking man who orchestrates a high-stakes robbery simply for the challenge, only to find himself entangled in a complex cat-and-mouse game with a brilliant investigator.

In a troubling bit of production news, a high-profile project is now going through some turbulent production issues. Despite the movie having already wrapped. The film in question is Lone Wolf, a Bryan Cranston and Lily Gladstone-led political action thriller filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, just earlier this year. Joey Draw Studios is keeping Bendy and the Ink Machine rolling with another new title in Bendy: Lone Wolf. Launching in 2025 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, the Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam and mobile, Lone Wolf will have players testing their ability to survive against ever-increasing odds as Boris the wolf.
Details on the story for Bendy: Lone Wolf are still forthcoming, but the game is purportedly a rebrand title of Boris and the Dark Survival, which was available on Steam back in 2020. This new game sees Boris, the cartoon companion of Bendy, delve further into the abandoned Joey Drew Studios and beyond in search of supplies, weapons, and the dark truths that await him.
It won’t be easy for Boris, as he’ll have to deal with the cartoon creeps of the Dark Puddles. You must battle them back with well-timed attacks and the clever use of traps,...

Chuck Norris only came to star in his best movies after Clint Eastwood passed on both. The Way of the Dragon's Bruce Lee vs Chuck Norris battle brought the latter to the attention of action fans, and Norris became part of a wave of martial artists who came to dominate the genre during the 1970s and 1980s, alongside the likes of Jean-Claude Van Damme. While the Missing in Action trilogy and Walker, Texas Ranger are his most famous projects, 1985's Code of Silence is arguably Chuck's best movie.
This thriller was helmed by The Fugitive's Andrew Davis and cast Norris as a Chicago cop fighting a drug lord whilst being shunned by his department for rightfully accusing another cop of corruption. There are only five Norris films with "Fresh" Rotten Tomatoes ratings, with Code of Silence being one with a healthy 68%. It features a better-than-average screenplay for a Chuck Norris action movie,...

Chuck Norris has carved out a reputation for starring in some of the best action movies of all time, particularly his groundbreaking work in the 1980s that put gritty action thrillers into the mainstream. Perhaps he is known predominantly now as a folktale legend told through jokes and memes about his physical prowess and athletic abilities, but these all started with a genuine origin. Like many martial arts film stars, Norris' fighting ability came first before his venture into Hollywood, with a martial arts background that saw him secure several championships and develop skills in multiple disciplines.
Some of Norris' best films show him as a one-man army fighting against forces of evil, but he is just as comfortable in an ensemble cast that band together to get the job done. His role as the iconic J.J. McQuade in Lone Wolf McQuade showcases the blend of individual bravado and exceptional combat skills,...

Judy Greer, Sean Astin, Bryan Cranston and John Goodman have all signed on to star in the upcoming dark comedy feature Chili Finger, with first-timers Edd Benda and Stephen Helstad to co-direct. Helstad wrote the script and Goodman is an executive producer. Additional castmembers Sarah Herrman and Paul Stanko are currently attached, with production slated to begin next spring. The film is produced by Beyond the Porch and Gold Tree Studios.
Chili Finger tells the story of a recently empty-nested mother (Greer) who discovers a human finger in her bowl of fast-food chili. When she blackmails the restaurant for a cash payout, the situation spirals out of control and her life descends into chaos.
So far, Astin, Cranston and Goodman’s characters are being kept under wraps.
“We couldn’t ask for a better cast to bring our quirky dark comedy to the big screen,” said co-directors Benda and Helstad.
