One of the Greatest episodes in TV/Streaming History

I'm fully serious this was peak Game of Thrones level of action, emotion, and storytelling. For a show based off league of leagues (which ive never played) this show deserves all the praise. The music blending into the fight scenes, Vi, Cait, and Jinx finally clashed and it was hands down the greatest episode I've seen this year. Arcane season 2 has somehow topped the first season so far. It's mindblowing how good the story for this show is. Every single character is written correctly and made to feel important and you care for them all. I can't wait to see how this story ends cause it's building up so good.

    Flawless

The best episode of Arcane so far, every scene was flawless. This episode sends you through spirals of different emotions which leaves an impact like no other episode so far. Characters entire dynamics are completely shifted in the most shocking ways and so many new elements are introduced to be explored further. The episode does not shy away from mystery and withholding information from the viewer and when it does reveal twists it does so in the most satisfying way. The episode tackles so many different storylines in so many different places and manages to weave them together so well. The ending solidifies the episodes 10/10 rating with a haunting final sequence. This episode is Arcane's magnum opus. (So far)

HOLD ONNN!! I CAN'T TAKE ALL THIS GREATNESS ONE SHOT

Last time i saw something like this perfection was in my dreams!

There's an incredible finesse in the animation, the framing, and the colors - how they've made everything into such a masterpiece! Every time I paused to admire a frame I liked, everything in it was perfect. The fight scenes, the explosions, and each character's movements in the show were amazing. The character designs, the costumes, the accessories, each character has a unique, elegant, and highly professional style-flawless. The surrounding environment, rich with colors, effects, and forms, is just as captivating.

I wanna be one of those artist so bad.

    It's too good!

Vi and jinx's conflict is so well done and doesn't have any flaws. The soundtrack is the best part of the entire show, and again this episode. I can't get over how great the animation is as well as the voice acting and story. The characters are greatly written and have so much depth and internal conflict. Every single shot of this show could be an art piece it's that good. Viktor's story continues to get more sad and I cannot wait to see what is in store for him. The fight scenes are beyond entertaining and every single attack/punch is perfect. The new people introduced are very interesting and I really want to find out what the end of each episode is building up to!

    Form over substance

I hate to say it but with three episodes in, the second season is a step down from the brilliant first one. Arcane was such a strong show because the writing worked on a very deep, almost intimate interpersonal level between the main characters. The second season, though beautiful to look at, really zooms out and present a weirdly paced exposition dump held together by montages devoid of dialogue. I even had flashbacks to memories of watching late-night MTV "back in the days" as some of the show felt like a series of over-produced music videos.

My hope is that the writers simply had so much story to tell that they crammed the first three episodes of the second season with much of it, so that they can return to the better-paced story-telling and writing of the first season.

It just feels like crompromises were made. Let us hope that the show has time to recover.
