- Mary Stewart: [as Dorchester enters the house] There you are! Where have you been?

- Mary Stewart: [referring to the doll] Okay. Isn't she beautiful. I'm quite certain that someone will pay a lot for her. Give her a good home. Oh, I started working on a new doll. I'm going to make her this beautiful dress out of crinoline. Come touch it. Feel the beautiful crinoline. Oh, this is going to be my most beautiful doll yet. I can't wait to complete her.
