- Near a river front, KWAME, a ruthless drug dealer meets his girlfriend AUBREY, along with her foster sisters MYIESHA and LEMON. Pointing a gun at him, Myiesha reminds him of how worthless his life is, and Lemon encourages Aubrey to end his life for being abusive towards her. They are about to toss his body into the river but SECURITY comes driving by so they take off running. Fast forward to several months later, Lemon and Myiesha meet Aubrey who tells them about the nightmares she's been having about Kwame. They tell her not to worry and meet at their foster mother, MISS GRANT'S house for a brunch. Aubrey sees Kwame at the mall. She confesses that she thought she saw Kwame somewhere and the women get paranoid but try to ease her concerns. At a house Kwame is hiding out at, he recovers from his gunshot wound and is nursed back to health by his ex-girlfriend, ANGEL. The audience learns how he was saved from the river by Angel the night of the shooting, a year ago. When she sees him in a room where a bed and handcuffs are, she asks what he is up to, and he claims nothing. But the pictures of Aubrey on his wall prove otherwise, about his obsession with her and his plot for revenge. While out shopping, Aubrey runs into JAMIL, a handsome young brother. She goes out on a date with him and sees someone who looks like Kwame, but the person disappears before she can get a good look at him. Kwame nearly kidnaps her but vows to try again. Over time, Aubrey is spoiled and showered with gifts by her new man Jamil. And Myiesha actually sees Kwame at the mall with Angel while she is shopping with Lemon. Lemon tells her she is tripping and not to say anything to Aubrey. Kwame does things to destroy the sisters' lives. Until she is kidnapped by Kwame and has to be rescued.
