The year is 1962. Georg Riedel is 28 years old and plays double bass with various jazz musicians. He often plays together with Jan Johansson, who at this time is already a relatively well-known pianist. One day Jan asks if Georg wants to be part of a new collaboration, a record recording. They meet in Europafilm's studio in Sundbyberg outside Stockholm. There is a grand piano on the floor, but no other instruments or musicians are visible. Jan Johansson explains that piano and bass are everything. Because that's how it should be this time. But how was this experiment a success? And what is the secret behind the melodies? Hear the story of how the album "Jazz in Swedish" came about.
