Such a great episode! Great balance of every character! There was a lot of good drama and angst. Them rescuing the dogs was really wholesome and I loved how they tied the dog plot in with what Buck had going on with Eddie. I hope things develop further there. Loved everything going on with Maddie, Buck, and Eddie. Jennifer Love Hewitt is an excellent actress and the scene at the call center was CRAZY. The show hasn't don't a 911 call like that before, I was on the edge of my seat. The cliff hanger was perfect to keep you locked in for the next episode. Such an awesome way to kick off the mid season!

Gonna start off by saying I think 9-1-1 has really moved away from emergencies and this is a perfect example of that. I found the fire in this episode to be exciting but it was so short to make up for other storylines. The kidnapper storyline is great in theory but execution leaves something to be desired. I know there's another part but for what we've gotten so far I'm not quite hooked. The highlight of this episode are the personal relationships between the team. While the actual emergencies are sped through to make it happen I'd be lying if I said it wasn't for good reason Eddies storyline is one i've been anticipating and I'm enjoying how it's turning out. It just sucks the most interesting parts of the episode are in the last 10 minutes.

Im actually very shocked cause this was a very good episode and im surprised that i actually liked it????!!!!???? Like it was actually THAT good u have to give the writers and producers and everyone credits cause this was a very well made episode and they deserve a round of applause, i knew they had it in them to make GREAT episodes. Good for them im proud of them!!!!!!!

But anyway the storyline was very good and it got me so hooked and shooketh cause i was NOT EXPECTING THAT it was just so fantastic and the acting was literally mind blowing they put a lot of effort into this and im amazed especially with that acting they deserve oscars i swear and no im not being dramatic they do!!!!! I recommend people to watch this episode this episode really did not disappoint!!!!!!

Also im surprised and shocked there was buddie scenes and that did took me by surprise cause usually they barely add any buddie scenes but the fact this episode was heavy on them is really interesting and i wonder how theyre going to write them. I just hope they dont make a mistake cause this proves a LOT of people wants buddie to happen and if they dont do it at this point the show is really going to suffer and i hope they dont make that mistake cause i love this show and i want this show to last long but i also hate queerbaiting and no offense but what theyre doing is literally close to queerbaiting territory so lets not go there Buddie is a sensitive topic to a lot of lgbtq+ people and playing with their feelings especially with whats happenig now in usa is not funny and can be very dangerous for a lot of people who are losing hope so...

But overall its great episode 10 stars!!!!!

Overall its an average type of 9-1-1 episode. Jenniver Love Hewitt is a powerhouse. And although the mystery was a bit predictable, her performance makes it so good. Abigail Spencer coming in was also awesome. They have a good dynamic.

Buck and the dog was super sweet and I love that we see his love for animals first hand in the show.

Now for the bad. Eddie: He's so frustrating and self-centered at this point. Buck certainly has his flaws as he deals with his best friend leaving and he's doing his best while also still dealing with his breakup with Tommy. But Eddie is outright mean and it demonstrates two things for me.

1. Eddie is not in place to get a good partner to anyone.

2. Buck and Eddie are in a kind of one sided friendship.
