Carrie Underwood: Reflection

This reflection of Carrie Underwood's career highlighted her greatest hits in a way that was both visually stunning and captivating. I think many reviewers on this site missed the point by expecting more-it was never meant to be a documentary, but rather a televised version of an incredible Las Vegas residency show.

Carrie's powerhouse vocals, impeccable fashion choices, and commanding stage presence were on full display. My favorite moment was the "Blown Away" performance, where she creatively slowed down the instrumental intro, building up to the familiar track we know and love.

Her vocal talent is truly unparalleled, and this program perfectly showcased why she's so deserving of all the recognition she's received. I'm so glad they shared this with the world!

No, she's not lip syncing, it's a live show. If you said she was, you obviously didn't watch it.

And guess what, she's not using autotune like most stage and recording artists.

She's got a lot of great material and she sings most of it. The energy level is pretty amazing without any real breaks.

It's a giant stage which puts the band too far away in my opinion.

From a technical point of view, the music film is quite good. The cinematography, although mostly focused on the performer, cuts also to the audience and sometimes backstage, which I think was crucial in every music documentary of musical film released. Not only was this a grand showcase of Underwood's immense talent and undeniable stage command, it was also a testament to her numerous hits being a part of lives of fans over the years. The editing was also quite good, with no unnecessary scenes being added that maximizes the film runtime. Anyone who is a fan of hers or country music will surely be fascinated.

It was so horrible that I don't think she knows how to sing. She was lip-synching the whole time. She needs to take some vocal lessons. Hopefully Hulu never works with her again. I don't think I can handle ever hearing her in concert. Her stage present was OK not the best. I think she needs more experience with containing an audience. Probably one of the most boring concert movie. I wish I can take back the time I wasted watching this. Hopefully Hulu does one with Beyoncé. Her country music is more better than Mrs. Underwoods and that's saying a lot. Also, the songs that she sang were not that good either.

It really is a low energy disappointing performance with the exception of the finale. As I sit and reflect on this performance I can't help but feel sad and let down from Carrie. The earlier years and performances were amazing so in comparison this was a full let down. The people in the crowd even looked bored and forced to be there. I have bought the boxes with shirts, cd and autographed photo but have since moved them into garage. Can't seem to throw them away due to how costly they were but the admiration is gone. Some people should really leave when they still go the talent and their reputation.
