The great actress Mary Marquet, who in 1971 is 76 years old, welcomes André Roussin, Maurice Escande (whom she married in 1920), Marcel Mithois, the Duke and Duchess of Orléans and the Duchess de Sabran. In the company of her guests, she recalls her memories, interspersed with images from the present day, telling about her great friend, the politician André Tardieu, the actor and theater host Firmin Gémier, Edmond Rostand. At the Aix-les Bains theater, she recounts her childhood, her father, the great Sarah and Sacha Guitry. At Georges Brassens's home, she recites the words to three of his songs: "Le Testament", "Brave Margot" and "L'Auvergnat".
