This whole "Jason" saga has REALLY got out of hand for the writers. Do you even remember where Jason came from? Let me remind you. We met him five years ago when Nolan and Bailey were dating. He was Bailey's husband who wouldn't sign the divorce papers. Back then he was some half-cooked crook with a short sentence for embezzlement.
Five seasons later, he is suddenly a criminal mastermind who rubs shoulders with "the best", antagonizes the entire gang of very bad criminals and deserves "the best" "hitman" in the country to hunt him down.
HOW did he get from a small-time conman to an underworld kingpin was never explained. ALSO, please remember Bailey clearly said he "never laid a finger on her". He just told her he doesn't look as good as she thought. Now, he is no longer just a domestic cookie monster, he wants to literally KILL her. And she, ever the girlscout, colludes with a mafia killer to get rid of him so that she can sleep better.
This show should've been canceled two seasons ago, and Fillion should've started the third franchise in Hawaii.
