I enjoyed the original series, and I am a fan of Nichola Walker and Steven Mangan however, the opening scene of this two parter, was weird. It made no sense and came from nowhere, based on the series itself. When did any series start with a supposed drunken scene in a pub, with no concept or back story?
Then, we are suddenly transported to an airport, with supposed adults behaving as children, who can't have a decent adult conversation. Apparently a wedding was involved in the storyline, I didn't get that far.
I was asked if this review contained spoilers, as is normal. The whole series is a spoiler, and that is something I've never said of any series.
I've watched good and bad series, even some of the bad were better than this waste of space. And that is saying something. Don't bother watching, you will be bitterly disappointed.
