Lost opportunity as a good movie

What could have been an engaging psychological thriller turns out to be a disappointing and uninspired story. Wolves feels less like a suspense film and more like a portrait of how fragile and hypersensitive the new generation has become. There's no real sense of danger, no emotional tension - just an endless cycle of overreactions and self-pity masquerading as depth.

Even the protagonist's supposed moments of fear or defiance fail to resonate; they evoke not anxiety or empathy, but fatigue and boredom. Wolves ends up howling at nothing - a timid, forgettable film that mistakes emotional fragility for storytelling substance.

Trivia
All the concert footage was taken from real live shows. The director staged real concerts with well known bands and the fictional band WLVS served as supporting act. That way there was a real live concert crowd instead of a group of extras.
