World of Tanks: Holiday Ops

Casting Schwarzenegger and Jovovich adds instant draw. The idea of injecting Hollywood actors into a gaming holiday campaign helps the short stand out.

Some of the set transitions are nicely done (e.g. The film set turning into a train / holiday scene). The film leans into spectacle, which helps when promoting a game about tanks and battles.

As a short film / branded content piece: 7/10. It has flair, decent visuals, and the novelty of celebrities doing this sort of thing is fun. But it stumbles in execution pacing, narrative clarity, and integration with the game event are weak.

If your expectations are "a festive, pretty trailer with familiar faces," it largely delivers. If you expect a tight, emotionally gripping short film, it comes up short.
