Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan, and Rajkummar Rao in Hamari Adhuri Kahani (2015)

Trivia

Hamari Adhuri Kahani

Edit
Based on the love story of Mahesh Bhatt's parents. Nanabhai Bhatt, Shirin Mohammad Ali and his stepmom.
This will be emraan hashmi's and vidya balan's third movie together after "the dirty picture" & "ghanchakkar"
Towards the end of the movie, where Vasudha runs from Hari into her appartment in Kolkota, she passes through a Durga Pooja procession, where women in white/red saree put red color powder on each other's faces. The is the "exact same" Pooja procession as in Kahaani. Here too, Vidya crosses though a Pooja procession in Kolkota, with women in white / red saree to escape (from police). Only difference is that in Kahaani, Vidya is in white / red like the other people. In Hamari Adhuri Kahaani, Vasudha is in all red.
This is the first film in which Shaad Randhawa not acted after four films Woh Lamhe, Awarapan, Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain in which he worked with director Mohit Suri.
The film had a theatrical release in Surrey British Columbia Canada.
