The insights into the technology, training, and sheer grit required to survive in such a hostile environment are captivating. However, the program carries a curious propaganda-like tone, frequently drawing parallels with Russia's Arctic strategy and fighting capabilities.

It's unclear whether this is intended to juxtapose two global powers or subtly serve as a recruitment tool for the Marines, with plenty of screen time dedicated to showcasing shiny equipment and elite training methods.

One recurring theme that stands out is the now-familiar critique of the British assault rifle, which once again proves unreliable in extreme conditions. Or just snow. Perhaps the troops will have to rely on harsh language instead? Or we could spend money here rather than on pointless 20 mph signs. Just a thought.

A fascinating watch, but the underlying messaging might leave viewers questioning its intent. Still, kudos to those who are out there while I'm sat on my phone writing reviews. Godspeed.
