Refreshingly funny easy watch
Jordan Gray is amazing playing her quirky egomaniac character. The show is very silly and easy to watch whilst doing other things, the comedy can be slightly low brow at times but it works with the ridiculous premise of the show and for her first sit-com is a true gem. The banter with the flatmate is top-notch and the whimsical shenanigans throughout the show just made me giggle the whole time. I like how the storyline centres a trans character without making it her whole personality and the other characters are also diverse but feel like real people all the same. The episodes are a good length for a quick laugh at the end of the day.
Fantastic
Aside from the fact that it's so good to see something unique on tv (hopefully this will change, as there are only so many recycled tropes one can enjoy on repeat), this series made me laugh out loud in every episode. And even with shows I love, that is not a common reaction for me.
Far from the snowflake reputation much of the trans community have unjustly earned, the series is daring, bold, unfiltered and unprecious. The main character, Liv, in Jordan Gray's own words, is 'a bit of a d-ckhead', just like anyone else.
I, for one, am extremely appreciative of productions that give us viewers something different and wonderful to experience. And for those of us with open minds and a love of creativity, it's a balm for the soul.
I hope this production is the first of many of its kind as our society matures and learns to co-exist peacefully, as we are meant to.

Just a real laugh
Really funny and a bit different...reminds me of the comedy I grew up with in the 90s.
The performances are fab, the writing is really sharp and it has a wicked stylish look to it all. Not afraid to be smart while also being really silly, just what I like in a scripted comedy. It's the kind of humour that Always Sunny in Philadelphia does so well.
The characters are 100% watchable and don't fall in to the trap of becoming perfect angels. Finally, a new comedy where the main characters have flaws!
Wish mainstream channels would take more risks like this, it's great, hope there's a second series.

Genuinely Funny
I wasn't expecting to enjoy this, for one, it aired on ITV, which isn't my usual first choice for comedy that isn't boringly mainstream.
Secondly, the topic can be difficult and triggering, making it tricky for comedy based around a trans character to hit the mark.
I'm a 50-year-old cis woman, and whilst I'm not sure I'm squarely the demographic being aimed at, I absolutely loved it.
It's really well written and finds its feet after episode 2. I found it highly watchable, entertaining, heart-warming and very, very funny.
I'm someone for whom Vic & Bob and the Mighty Boosh is my idea of humour and I tend to like comedy that is either surreal or dark and a bit edgy, and this was an absolute joy to watch.
I have no idea why it has scored so low on average, or perhaps, sadly, I do, and I suspect it has nothing to do with the quality of writing and acting which remains strong throughout.

A hilarious riot of a sitcom
Great characters and absolutely full of laughs.
Very sharp clever writing and great performances from everyone.
Jordan Grey is a phenomenal comedy talent and I'm sure we'll see a lot from her in the future, no, I'm sure we will.
A sitcom you can watch time and time again, the best I've watched since Friday Night Dinner, binged the whole thing until the early hours. I had seen the Comedy Channel version , which was great, but this is a huge step up again from that. Like you'd expect with a bit of Nick Frost, but not just him, everyone delivers.
Looking forward to season 2 dropping very soon.
