Patrick and Rez are two gay besties and roommates who are getting ready for a(nother) night on the town, when their other roommates Colt and Lauren while having a(nother) fight. And the results of the fight with shape all of their lives from that point forward.

In the aftermath of Lauren's decision to break up with Colt, he goes out to a local gay bar with Patrick and Rez to get them all free drinks. They discuss why the breakup happened and what Colt needs to so to make up Lauren's part of the rent.

The boys have a line line outside of potential roommates for Colt, due to Patrick's online ad. The boys debate whether it would be better for Colt to have a roommate that is straight or gay, and the first roommate interview ends in an unexpected way.

The boys continue to interview potential new roommates, all of whom happen to be different flavors of gay. Towards the end of the interview process, someone walks in that Patrick and Rez can't get a beat on. The balance of power in the apartment comes into question.

Patrick gets a taste of life in the restaurant industry as he holds down a job as a server at Rez's restaurant. After dealing with the drama of a week of work, Patrick decides that it may be time to seek a day job elsewhere, especially when he discovers what really flavors the restaurant's famous pita chips.

When Rez gets home MUCH later than expected one night, Patrick becomes suspicious about where he's spending his extra time. He loops Colt into investigating what's up with Rez, and end up discovering a big secret Rez has been hiding for months.

Patrick begrudgingly shows up for his first day of work at UNiFIT gym with Colt. When Rez joins them for a workout, he and Patrick notice how much Colt is drooling over his gym crush and decide that they need to intervene to revive Colt's love life.

Patrick and Rez stage a date simulation for Colt, much to the chagrin of Colt. After leaving the simulated date, Colt tracks down Angelina and asks her out. Later at the bar, the boys all cheers to their growth over the past months, and Lauren calls Colt with more life-changing news.
