Wrap Thee in Terror

1923

Edit

Continuity

When Cara is giving Liz the rabies shot, as the syringe approaches her belly, the plunger is pulled all the way out. The syringe looks empty. In the next shot she still hasn't inserted the needle but the plunger is already depressed all the way.

Factual errors

The ticket clerk sells Alexandra train ticket for Chicago via Boston on the New York Central Railroad. When Alex asks why Boston, the clerk responds that the Hudson river necessitates this route. This is incorrect - NYC trains ran from New York along the east bank of the Hudson all the way up to Albany where they crossed the river. At Albany a separate section coming from Boston was connected and the combined train continued west towards Chicago. So, a trip from New York to Chicago would not have involved going via Boston.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

Zane tells Jacob to burn the wagon because there is no wood to build a fire. The wagon is at the edge of a forest of trees and there are trees everywhere right there where they are. Jacob could have had a fire going already in the time he spent taking the wagon apart to make a fire of it.

Note: Trees that are covered in snow are very hard to burn, especially when the temperature is below freezing.

Anachronisms

A plastic syringe is used early in the episode but the weren't invented until 1956.
