Based on a Japanese light novel series by Kazuma Ootorino, with illustrations by Aka Ringo (Volume 1-7), and Non (Volume 8-12). It was published by Famitsu Bunko (Enterbrain, then KADOKAWA) from January 2012 to December 2016. It won the Grand Prize in the Novel Category of the 13th Enterbrain Entertainment Awards.
