My Melody & Kuromi

My Melody and Kuromi on Netflix absolutely stole my heart. This series blends adorable visuals with surprisingly deep storytelling. Both characters are given meaningful growth. My Melody remains sweet and caring, while Kuromi brings a unique edge that perfectly balances the tone. The animation is charming, the music is nostalgic yet fresh, and the lessons about friendship, self-worth, and emotional honesty are beautifully told. Whether you're a longtime Sanrio fan or new to the world, this show is a must watch. It's more than cute. It's impactful. A 10/10 from me! 💖🖤

They truly have outdone themselves with this adorable series! First, the stop motion animation is absolutely incredible, especially the materials they used...not just clay, but the fluffy cotton candy material they used for some of the little smoke/cloud effects is just too cute! Everything from the backgrounds, the lighting and of course the characters are wonderful. The storyline is fun and interesting, my 5 year daughter absolutely LOVES the Sanrio universe... My Mel & Kuromi are her absolute top favorites...so this show was perfect for her. I really hope they do more of this stop motion style of animation for hopefully...MAYBE a second season, or maybe another set of characters!?!!

This show is full of whimsy and fun, it's all about sweet treats and the animation is flawless. Fun for all ages this adventure includes hero's and villains as well as good life lessons and morals.

9/10 because the episodes are only around 13 minutes each, which is perfect for easy digestion and quick watching. I hope they continue this show in the future.

I watched this with my 3 year old daughter and she loved it as did I, I wasn't expecting much from it as an adult but I really enjoyed it and my daughter has become obsessed with it and my melody as a character I think I've watched it atleast 5 times from start to finish and she still isn't bored of it. I would recommend for anyone who is wanting to watch a hello kitty show/spin off especially if they had young children, the animation is really good and the story is intriguing as an adult you want to keep watching, it's fun, weird and sometimes a bit scary but it's always amazing.
