Eliza Dooley (Karen Gillan) is a beautiful, drop dead gorgeous, snobbish, self obsessed and narcissistic sales rep for KinderKare Pharmaceuticals whom is obsessed with achieving fame through online social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. But, Eliza soon receives attention from unwanted followers when she learns her new boyfriend is married and she is left humiliated when she accidentally pops her vomit bags all over her. Eliza decides that she wants to change her image and she wants to become a better person and Eliza turns to successful marketing expert Henry Higgs (John Cho) for help and Henry reluctantly agrees to help Eliza and teaches Eliza that is more to life than social networking. But, as Eliza constantly disappoints Henry and Henry gets impatient with her. Complications begin to emerge as Eliza begins a relationship with her co-worker, Henry's cocky and arrogant rival Freddy (Giacomo Gianotti) whom antagonizes Henry and Eliza begins to develop romantic feelings for Henry and Henry declares that his friendship with Eliza is strictly professional and like it or it, he will teach her to live her life offline, if she is to become a better person.
