Daryl Hall and Callie Dowd reprise their roles from Fat Boys. Xandria Cross, Daryl Hall, Callie Dowd, Adra Cooper, Aren Wesner, Katherine Blackmore and Courtney Lee Simpson will reprise their Fat Boys and The Lion roles in the future film "Whom Shall I Send".
Daryl Hall and Donnie Hall are brothers in real life.
Many of the exterior shots were filmed in Loudon, TN.
The Lion received exceptional cooperation from the Loudon City Police and Vonore Police both in Tennessee.
Arien Wesner and Courtney Lee Simpson filmed scenes for The Lion and give them the chance to reprise their roles from Fat Boys but the scenes were cut.
