Trivia

Aimy in a Cage

Edit
Crispin Glover was given a frame and outline for his character and filled in the rest via improvisation. Hooroo Jackson likened his casting in the film to 'having his own Picasso.'
The name 'Aimy Micry' was chosen at random from the dictionary when Hooroo Jackson wished to write a story about the first word he came to. The word was mimicry. Noun. 1. The action or art of imitating someone or something, typically in order to entertain or ridicule. 2. The close external resemblance of an animal or plant to another.' The story of a troubled orphan with a malleable, hall of mirrors identity ensued.
The film was financed by Hooroo Jackson's investment in Bitcoins, which would have went on to be worth 100s of millions of dollars if he hadn't made the film.
Joanna Wang, Taiwanese pop star, cameos as the female news anchor. Five of her songs are used throughout the movie.
The two Siberian huskies appearing throughout the film were Hooroo Jackson's own dogs.
