Lead actor Joey Folsom filmed the entirety of Cronus in Fort Worth, Texas while simultaneously starring in the play The Year of the Rooster in Dallas, TX for Upstart Productions. Half way through filming, his left foot was broken during a performance. He continued filming without missing a day, including all of the chase scenes. It wasn't until after he was wrapped that director Derek Presley was let in on the secret of his injury.
Won Best Science Fiction Feature at the 2017 Silver Scream Film Festival during Famous Monsters Con.
Took home 3 awards total at the 2017 DonQuest Film Festival. Lead actor Joey Folsom won Best Actor while the film won Best Feature and Audience favorite.
