"Jake grew up in the public eye", says his mom Pam. "Every single mistake he made was public." Gee, Pam, whose fault is that as his parent who's supposed to be keeping an eye on him?
Jake and Logan's dad Greg says he would blow up all of LA with a button if he could. "That's terrorism", says Logan. His model fiancée Nina Agdal grimaces. At least someone in the family understands this is not something one should say. I wonder what the consequences would be if someone not in Greg's position of privilege went around spewing such psychopathy.
Admittedly, I watched nearly two episodes of this show because I was more interested in the significant others than the brothers themselves. Nina is beautiful, and perhaps the most likable cast member for a show where the bar is truly in hell. The other SO is okay. She's just there. So is her eyeliner.
Between the brothers, Logan Paul surprisingly came off better than I expected. He's possibly the most self aware of the bunch, and again, the bar is in hell. Jake was boring at best and cringey on average.
My least favorite cast members were the parents. Not a single redeeming factor about either of them, especially the father. After all, they're the ones to blame for everything. They created these two monsters, who they now mooch off of. The dad said he'd been trying to get a reality show going for five years now.
I tried to keep watching for the brothers' partners but this show is overall boring, uninspiring, and completely lacking in self awareness (and common decency at times). One would think content of this caliber is beneath HBO, but apparently not.

Something that can probably only excite fans. Although I don't count myself among them, I have to admit that despite the controversy, every story is admirable to me, when someone manages to climb from nothing to the top, and whether the Paul brothers' way is more or less interesting for someone, their journey can still be motivating and inspiring for many people. However, if I evaluate it from a production perspective, I don't find it exceptional or interesting. Qualitatively, it's on the level of a better YouTube series. Still, I believe it will find its audience and even though I don't expect good reviews from critics, the series will be successful in terms of viewership.
The Paul brothers have built their careers on controversy, and their latest show is no exception. It's hard to ignore the history of their reckless actions, which make it clear that their drive for fame and wealth knows no bounds.
1. Insensitive Content: Logan Paul's infamous Suicide Forest video, where he filmed a dead body for content, is just one example of how far they'll go for attention. That incident alone demonstrated a complete lack of respect for others and, unfortunately, set the tone for much of what followed.
2. Crypto Scams: Logan and Jake's involvement in dubious crypto projects like Zoo Coin and their promotion of other scammy ventures only deepens their reputation for exploiting their audience. They peddled promises of wealth and success, only to leave investors empty-handed. This behavior isn't just unethical-it's damaging.
3. Inflated Egos and Desperation: The Paul brothers' egos are so inflated, they could practically orbit the Earth on their own gravitational pull. Their pursuit of fame and success has reached ridiculous extremes, including trying to break into the rap industry and creating more and more outrageous stunts. It's clear they're willing to do anything to stay in the spotlight.
4. Toxic Influence on Their Audience: The saddest part is how they continue to build a following-whether people like them for their antics or simply watch out of hatred. Either way, they're contributing to a culture of glorifying reckless behavior for the sake of clicks and views.
In conclusion, the Paul brothers' newest show is yet another example of their desperation for attention and wealth, with little regard for the consequences. If you know how harmful their influence can be, do yourself a favor and spend your time on something more positive-whether that means rescuing a dog, spending time with loved ones, or just doing something that truly adds value to your life. The Paul brothers have shown time and time again that they'll do whatever it takes to stay in the spotlight, even if it means scamming people and profiting off of chaos.

Maybe the CIA would find this useful for getting terrorists to talk.
You know it's bad when even the fans of the Paul brothers are trashing this show. No thinking person would rate this higher than 1-star.
If you want to know who the Paul brothers are, look up the sick ways they claw money from the grasp of their fan-base. The worst might be Logan Paul's Crypto Zoo project that was never finished and still hasn't been refunded. Promise after broken promise, he never gets around to helping the people that thought they were investing in crypto or at least would have a working game. He sues anyone who speaks out, using his money to intimidate people into silence.
Put this on your "Never Watch" list.

Jake Paul's new show, Paul American, is a poor example for young men and Americans. The show glorifies reckless behavior, materialism, and a lack of meaningful responsibility, sending the wrong message to impressionable viewers. Paul's antics promote a toxic mindset where fame and wealth are prioritized over hard work and integrity. Young viewers may internalize these unhealthy values, undermining their growth and character. In a time when positive role models are essential, Paul American fails to contribute anything constructive to society, reinforcing harmful stereotypes. I would never recommend this terrible show to anyone!

For context, these are the same guys who went to Japan, filmed a person hanging in the Suicide Forest for views and likes, and made insensitive jokes about it. That alone speaks volumes about their character and the lengths they'll go for the spotlight.
Now they're back in the spotlight with a "reality show" showcasing their manchild behavior and inflated egos-as settler colonizers. Yes, you read that right. They moved to Puerto Rico and became part of the problem: displacing locals through settler colonialism. They've done staged photo ops of "helping" the community-when in reality, under the tax incentive law they benefit from, charitable donations are mandatory. They're not being generous; they're just meeting requirements and spinning it as altruism.
They've caused trouble on the island: from supporting privatization of public beaches, to illegally riding ATVs where turtles nest, to trying to buy up properties in La Perla (Old San Juan), playing right into colonialist patterns.
They flex their wealth on an island where the median salary is $25,000-because in the U. S., they're just small fish in a big pond. Add in the corrupt local government, and you've got a classic case of quid pro quo with outsiders exploiting tax breaks.
In short: these manchildren are bad energy with too much money and way too much attention.

Avoid Paul American at all costs. Zero taste, both literally and figuratively. The show is a complete waste of time, and I'm genuinely shocked HBO would put their name on something so poorly executed. Pass.
Utterly disappointing. Paul American delivers zero taste and a horrendously lackluster show. I'm baffled that HBO, known for quality content, would release such garbage. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.
Paul American: a masterclass in how to deliver zero taste and a show that's somehow both boring and offensive. HBO, are you okay? Seriously, pass on this 'gem.'
The production value of Paul American is as low as its taste levels. A truly horrendous show that leaves you wondering how it ever made it onto HBO. This is a hard pass, and a serious stain on HBO's reputation.

I mean really, what was the point of making this?
A failed and hated social media star, and a wannabe pro boxer, who's been dressed up for pick-me exhibitions, and celebrity match ups. It is the epitome of mindless half-assed rubbish, with bad acting, fake personalities, and retired porn-stars.
This family needs to cease making a name for themselves in the spotlight, the general public does not entertain these fools, unless they are young white males. Shame on MAX for even giving them a platform, making me reconsider my entire subscription to the streaming platform. Already canceled Netflix, Amazon, and Disney.
Stop financially supporting BAD people.

I guess I understand if you're a sheep and hate the Paul Brothers just because everyone else says to then I guess I get why you would hate the show. But why are you watching it anyway. Or taking the time to leave a review. You made up in your mind that you wouldn't like it before you started watching it. It's a back round look at their life, if you are interested in their life you're going to love this show. Personally it's my favorite show and the only thing I look forward to in life. A lot of these stories I had already followed before the show so it's interesting to see a little more background on what was going on and what they were going through during these events. But if you don't like them then watch something else.

Man I have to be real honest here with this series. I have always hated the Paul Brothers Logan and Jake I thought that they were the biggest egotistical idiots on the face of the planet. But thought that Jake was a little better than Logan only because of the controversial things that he's done. But I have to say the way they are because of their father and now since Nina and Logan had their child I really do feel like that it has softened him. For both brother their significant others has made them both better people. But my review for the show I learned a lot about everyone I enjoyed Paul American a lot I hope that they make a season 2.

"Honestly, if you're thinking about watching this, I would strongly advise against it. It's not worth your time, energy, or attention. The plot is weak, the pacing is painfully slow, and the characters are poorly developed to the point where you stop caring about what happens to them. The production quality doesn't make up for the lackluster storytelling, and even the supposed highlights fall flat. There are far better ways to spend your time-whether it's watching something else, reading a book, or even just taking a walk. Don't waste your time on this."

The fact that this absolute filth is even a thing shows how truly far back we have come as a society. These people are truly nothing but wastes of the flesh they parade around in, the entire cast shares a brain cell, and somehow that brain cell is racist. If you've ever thought to yourself "I wonder what people who wear white hoods and roofie girls get up to in their free time" then this show was made for you, and you should also try picking up a book. This world would truly be better without the people this vile, disgusting, putrid show showcase, therefore the world would be a better place if the show itself did not exist.

I had high hopes for "Paul American" on Max, hoping for an intriguing look into the lives of the Paul brothers. Unfortunately, the show falls flat in almost every aspect.
First, the lack of depth is painfully obvious. While the show claims to offer an inside look into their world, it barely scratches the surface. The focus is mainly on their fame and flashy lifestyles, with little exploration of their personalities or motivations. There's no real substance to the episodes, and it often feels like we're watching a well-produced promo for their brand rather than a genuine documentary-style show.
The storytelling is weak-instead of showing us something new or insightful, we're just fed the same old stories and controversies we've already seen in the media. The show's structure feels repetitive, and the moments that should be emotionally impactful are either rushed or brushed aside.
Lastly, the lack of character development leaves the show feeling soulless. If you're expecting to get to know the Paul brothers in a meaningful way, you'll be disappointed. There's no real growth or emotional connection, which makes it hard to care about anything happening on screen.
In conclusion, "Paul American" is a missed opportunity. It's more about flashing lights and empty moments than offering anything of real value to viewers. If you're looking for something insightful or engaging, look elsewhere-this show fails to deliver.

If you ever wondered what it would be like to watch a dumpster fire slowly consume itself while yelling profanities about how misunderstood it is-congratulations, you've found Paul American on HBO Max. This show isn't just bad; it's an insult to your intelligence, your time, and honestly, your TV.
Starring Logan and Jake Paul, the undisputed champions of brain cell erosion, this "reality" show is a glorified vanity project where the brothers pretend to be interesting while accomplishing nothing of value. It's like if the concept of narcissism threw up on itself and then demanded you pay a subscription fee to watch.
The episodes revolve around two overgrown man-children flexing their wallets while whining about their fabricated "struggles." The drama is so blatantly scripted, even your toaster would roll its eyes. There's more genuine emotion in a cardboard cutout of Jake Paul than in any of his fake existential crises on screen. You'll spend every minute wondering why anyone would willingly watch two human billboards argue about who's more insufferable. Spoiler alert: it's a tie.
The show's attempts at depth are about as successful as Jake's rap career-painfully awkward and better left forgotten. Logan trying to be the "mature" one is like watching a raccoon put on a suit and run for office. It's cute that he tries, but nobody's buying it. Meanwhile, Jake's self-pity tour is laughably transparent, as if he thinks pretending to have feelings will trick us into forgetting that he's still, well, Jake Paul.
They drag their family into this mess too, because apparently, misery loves company. Their parents and significant others appear on screen like hostages, blinking out Morse code for help while Jake rants about being misunderstood by the world (translation: people finally got tired of his obnoxious antics).
HBO Max touts Paul American as a raw, unfiltered look into the brothers' lives, but in reality, it's just an ego-fueled pity party that proves you can polish garbage all you want-it's still garbage.

Logan Paul is banned from Japan for good reason. Who thinks it's a great idea to video a dead body, an apparent suicide, in Japan's sacred Aokigahara Forest? This moron apparently. He and his buddies were shocked but not too shocked too make some jokes. His apology was weak. He was stunned by "shock and awe." What a crock! In my mind, a thousand upon thousand apologies would not make up for this crass behavior.
He was recently banned from entering Egypt. Preemptive strike by Egypt in my opinion.
He and his brother seem to embrace controversy, behaving abysmally wherever they go.
Not that I planned on watching it(the previews were more than enough for me) but he is so vile, it seals the deal for me.

I've watched these two brothers for a couple years now and I really wanted this show to be pretty good but it really doesn't tell me much. It just tells me how redneck rich these people actually are and it seems like they're really money, hungry people and I get that they Work hard and they've been in the spotlight for a while but it's just not good. It's a terrible show I mean I almost felt like I had to poke my eyes out with pencils after the first 20 minutes I mean it's really not good like don't waste your time on the show. You're just gonna want that time back and guess what you're not gonna get any of that time back.
Paul America missed out on the reality TV wave everyone's over the dramas too much Paul this Paul that drama drama drama no thank you this show is utter garbage . Stick the combat fighting they're actually pretty good at that but reality TV now I don't have the time to waste on nonsense but again if the show was around anywhere from 2010 to 2015 it would've been fine. It would've been a hit now. It's just sad get this off of HBO please this is a Tubi show not premium HBO
I'm actually a fan of the Paul brothers so this is not anything to do with them. It's just that time for me. I think they missed the window.

I watched the whole show from start to finish, it's not that bad actually... I think the hate is forced tbh it's better than average reality show and the editing is good as well. A little bit too much self marketing but it's Jake and Logan what do you expect.
I think all the 1 star reviews are a bit forced and If you are not stupid you probably could have figured that out by yourself, I'd give it a 7,6 but since that not an option I'll give it a 8 (rounding up bc .6)
It is a bit "youtube" produced in some scenes but I just think they used their own cameras for all shots that isn't still shot interviews. If you are gonna watch a Drama based reality tv series you shouldn't expect to gain something it's the TV version of doom scrolling.
Hope this helped, an honest review.

Apparently this mini reality series has spawned 1 season of 8 episodes thus far and the tv ratings have roughly met expectations, as we have been told.
With no expectations, this series certainly isn't for everyone and for those that already had a predetermined mindset that they wouldn't enjoy the show simply because of their supposed hatred for the brothers and what they have been fed to them by social media and suchs. There isn't any point in watching if you already made up your mind and have an irrational hate. However if watching with an open mind, maybe you may find them better than you'd expect.
As an unbiased viewer, it is the standard trope where we get background information on their upbringings as well as both of their current professions. Started watching 04.02.25, features some interesting scenes but also several more slow moving and at times boring parts.
The standout episodes are possibly the final 2 episodes (ep 7 where Logan's wife Nina gives birth). For some reason the episodes aren't titled. As well as the season finale episode- more showcasing the journey leading up to the Jake Paul/ Mike Tyson fight. You could tell they really focused the major storyline on that event as Jake was the primary focus making him look better at times.
Overall the series is well show and has many editing cuts and suchs. It is quite more deeper and more emotionally driven to a degree than expected. The cast don't hold back on anything, as far as language and a majority of them don't care for offending or upsetting the viewers (specifically the father- who we come around to by the end). It was confirmed to be a second season and we await in due time.

Babe, babe, babe Italy is so fun, oh the dinner is so nice.
There's something exhausting about this reality show that center around the ultra-wealthy-especially when the entire premise revolves around their refusal to experience anything remotely ordinary. They speaking about the easing of their daughter and don't even have the "courage" flying commercial so she haves a normal habits.
This type of show doesn't just highlight privilege-it glorifies disconnection. Every episode is a parade of over-the-top demands, private jets, designer tantrums, and a complete inability to engage with the real world. It's not entertaining-it's numbing.
Instead of offering insight or even guilty pleasure, it ends up being a repetitive cycle of shallow conversations about luxury, status, and self-indulgence. The drama isn't dramatic. The stakes are nonexistent. It's a celebration of excess, masking as entertainment, but delivering little more than boredom in high definition.
These shows don't just miss the point-they make you wonder if the point was ever there to begin with.

The only people giving this show a good rating are either brain-dead teens or diehard Paul Brother stans who think clout-chasing is a personality trait. "Paul American" is basically what happens when rich guys with too much time and not enough self-awareness decide to play dress-up as relatable humans. Seriously, who wants to watch a bunch of overly groomed millionaires awkwardly perform their lives like it's the 2007 Kardashian pilot, but with even less charm? The Paul brothers spend the entire show trying so hard to seem relevant, like their brand depends on it (which, let's be honest, it does). The whole family gives off that uncanny, fake-plastic energy - like they were assembled by a YouTube algorithm trying to recreate "authenticity" but forgot what real emotions look like. The worst part? It's not even entertaining. At least most reality shows have drama, humor, or wild moments that make you want to keep watching. This one just feels like a desperate PR campaign stitched together with influencer buzzwords and secondhand ego. If you enjoy watching millionaires fake personal growth between staged drama and brand deals, congrats - this show is for you. Everyone else? Save your brain cells. Watch paint dry. It has better character development.

I'm usually a fan of the Paul brothers and enjoy the content they produce, like Jake's boxing career or Logan in the WWE, but this show feels unnecessarily obnoxious. Perhaps this show was created to offer a glimpse into their lives, but if anything, I think the audience feels disconnected from them. Yes, they seem like these loud characters, and I'm sure that's how they are normally, but this felt like they were acting for the cameras. Maybe after being in the spotlight for so long, they can't help it-they immediately begin playing this persona. Throughout the years, we've gotten glimpses into their family's life and personalities, and while their mother seems incredibly sweet and caring, I think their father shouldn't have been given this platform. The Paul brothers themselves seem to find some of the things he's done troubling.

I'm not a fan of Paul family but after this show I might! I love everything about it, the craziness, the raw feeling of it, even tho a bit might be staged! I love everything about it! And yes, I'm typing this as I'm watching ep5 with Jutta and her family! I LOVE IT! Seeing how hard Jutta works for her goals is so motivating! And to those who says Jake is not working for his boxing career, take a break from hating! It was so sad to see Nina's reaction to that bully action! I'm happy to see she's so loved!
They addressed everything and all the controversy about them in such a fun way but very serious as well! Keep it people.
