The feeling that this film leaves you is incredible.
After taking part to the shootings as an appearance, I decided to read the book. I found the book very touching expecially because I know that it was written by Michela Murgia after finding out about her illness. For this very reason I believe she was able to talk about this delicate topic in a magic way, making you think and consider. After this introduction, I can say that the way the film summarises the book's concept in the script, is majestic. Everything is combinen in order to create a beautiful and flowing story, crossed by tragic and difficult moments that, however, leave you with a sense of lightness at the end. Not to talk about the amazing way the director was able to portrait Rome and Trastevere. Every frame was like a photograph to hang on the wall, and was able to hold the precious essence of a difficult everyday life. Everything in this film was taken care of in a moving way.
So, who we become and who we want by our side when life troubles us? This film is a beautiful way to find out.
