In an effort to make the viewer care in this one, the melodrama and soap opera acting is cranked up to 11. Nothing felt believable and it was insulting to the viewer's intelligence. There are too many great actors in this show for it to be this phony. The writers strike was years ago, get some pros writing and advising scripts please.
The villain was such a ridiculous caricature of a stereotype of someone mentally ill. Surely there have been people dealing with the problems depicted in this one but degrading innocents for things beyond their control is not cool. Nobody is going to become a serial killer because their brain is wired a bit wrong.

I am really disappointed, in these reviews. People are really nitpicking. This has to be one of the most scariest episodes of the series.
We learned from the last episode that Maddie is kidnapped from no one other than, detective Amber of missing persons! Who worse to get kidnapped from? Chim goes to Amber to file a missing person's report. Yeah, we know that is not going to do any good. Chim is told by Amber that Maddie has ran away and that is it.
Of course Chim doesn't believe her. The scary part is Amber and how close she gets. It's their daughter that helps provide a big league, as well as Athena.
This is one must watch episode that I think is good.
The only spoiler I will give is that we do say goodbye to someone which you probably know who it is.
If you like thrillers, you will like this episode.

Ok so the acting of the two females at the centre of the story line was great but the plot was not. It felt familiar (was there not a similar abduction story in the other 911?) and the representation of a mental health disorder was not really not good.
Also Buck following on from last week was hard to watch. Did they all forget that was his sister? He didn't seem to care about her at all and lately they just seem obsessed with giving him scenes with the same person and no one else. Now that person is gone maybe we'll see Buck remember he has other people, real family in his life. Or maybe they just don't trust the actor with anything more complex that his permanent confused face acting.
Also y'all giving everything 10 stars? You think these episodes are perfect? Come on. If you don't criticize they will think they can just keep up with the lazy writing, inconsistent characterization and predictable plots.

Love Jennifer acting was so good π, Eddie is bottling up his emotions He loves Buck but doesn't know how to process those feelings, so he's pushing them down and brushing it all off. We're so close!
But i really got mad knowing they are now treating eddie like a sided love interest , we didn't see his perspective in so many situations like he's not a main character????? This is really a bad writing... we always got to see bobby centric episodes, , buck But eddie they keep treating him unfairly and we didn't got to see him dealing with anything personal it always off screen ππππππ even with chris.

- GoofsMaddie is tied up with packing tape around her wrists. She secretly cuts the tape while Amber isn't watching, but later asks Amber to let her write a goodbye letter for her daughter. Amber unties Maddie to let her write, but it makes no sense that Amber wouldn't notice the tape was already cut or loose when removing it. As a detective and the kidnapper, Amber should have realized Maddie had freed herself before giving her another chance to escape.
