Episode #1.1

I can't tell if this is supposed to be a real show. At a contracted rate of approximately $20 million per year since 2019, it makes sense that Phoebe Waller-Bridge would have to eventually make SOMETHING for Amazon, so here we are with 'Octopus!'.

We're watching Phoebe do her best 'Amilee' impression over stock nature footage/claymation hybrid, while Tracy Morgan delivers MTV 'Cribs' in the character of SNL's Brian Fellows. If that's actually his house then I just lost a lot of faith in humanity.

It's about octopuses, which are interesting, so it's not "bad" per se, but it's basically a high-budget YouTube video. Imagine if 'Planet Earth' replaced half of the painstakingly collected footage with claymation and interviews with marine biologists and celebrities, that's effectively 'Octopus!'. Not sure I can do a second episode of this.
