    Dump the phony unfunny hosts

The two unfunny, unentertaining guys who host this are insufferable.

They desperately try to be interesting and funny but just come across as phony, unlikable douche bags who are trying too hard and failing.

The premise of the series sounds good on paper. Unfortunately, some of the tasks were lame and didn't come across well on screen.

It's a challenge to try and capture the action of dozens of people doing a task and make it interesting and show the audience what's going on. They often didn't do a very good job with this.

Even near the end, you really don't care much about these people. You really haven't gotten to know them very well throughout the series.

Dump the idiot hosts, rethink the tasks and filming and they might have a good series.

    who dreams up this junk

Boring, stretched out, like a school sports day with dramatic music. Feel like I wasted my time watching this, too much time spent talking about random people's backstories, and the challenges are just stupid.

This is an example of everything wrong with TV and it is no wonder people are moving to streaming services where shows like this rarely gets green lit and don't survive.

The whole show could be fit into one episode, and they're the sorts of mini games you'd dream up while drunk, like "let's see who can hold a ball on a spoon in our mouth longest".

There really isn't more to say. Don't waste your time.

    Fresh, Fantastic, Family Fun!

This show is JUST WHAT ITV needed!

It's great to see such a unique and fun concept bring ITV alive on Saturday nights. Ever since the first episode, my kids have became massive fans (along with myself and I'd gladly admit that lol). Not only do we get to watch, getting to know and love the players, but we can also play these games at home!

The brothers are also doing a fantastic job at presenting the show. Despite this being their first gig together, they are naturals. You can clearly see how they are invested in the games and the contestants, genuinely wanting them all to do well. They have a lovely way of empathising yet keeping the show upbeat and lighthearted. A skill that many presenters who have been in the industry a while fail to succeed at. I really look forward to seeing what they accomplish in the future together!

It's clear a lot of work has gone into this show, however it is brilliantly simplistic. The production and casting team did a superb job.

99 to Beat has quickly became my new favourite show and makes each Saturday a day to look forward to. I can't wait to see more games and more fun to come in the weeks ahead!

    99 to Beat UK

Somewhere in a darkened room you do wonder whether Ant and Dec are kicking themselves that they aren't fronting this instead of having to persevere with the dull and lifeless format that is their current gameshow 'Limitless Win'.

Perhaps you could argue that this show needs a younger cheeky chappy duo to present it, but let us be honest- the Thomas twins are about as ill-suited to being presenters as you can get. Their overconfidence in their own ability reeks through the screen.

However, this show does have an appeal, a broad appeal, and that is normally the sort of format that Ant and Dec would be all over.

    Refreshing

This little gem is a lot better than I was expecting. Ryan and Adam Thomas are a great team together and I think they should pursue this talent and stay away from Coronation Street!

The games are quite simple (not always), often hilarious and very entertaining.

From the original 100, who did not know each other (apart from the twins, who were complete opposites but clearly lived wach other), it soon became clear that most of them aren't in it for the money. They are in it for the fun. They support each other regardless of age, religion, colour, disability...

    A great refreshing show.

    9/10. Nearly 10.
