Once Upon a Time There Was a Kallan

This is a good, clean family drama. It starts rather slow - trying to establish and the characters, the setting / village etc. But honestly felt it could have been a bit crispier (especially since I felt the ending seems hurried / sequenced together for time).

The acting, screenplay and writing is pretty decent - the veteran actor - Pratap Pothen is the main driving force story wise - and acting wise. The supporting cast were ok / acceptable.

There are many pacing issues - with one song in between though - ok music wise - felt could have been cut (adds nothing much to the story) as well as few dialogues in the second half (the movie 'tells', rather than 'shows' - which is lazy filmmaking)

But the movie is good enough for a watch - especially with family.
