Titanfall 2 is an underrated masterpiece. If you haven't played it before, you have to try it.
The campaign is spectacular, unique, and emotional, and the bond between Jack and BT is amazingly well done. The multiplayer is endlessly replayable, and each match feels different.
Back to the campaign for a minute, the only gripe I have is that it's too short. Not even 7 hours on the highest difficulty. But, what it does with that time is incredible. Jack and BT bond realistically, with Jack learning how to be a pilot, and BT gaining more humanity as it goes on. They have great banter and some genuinely funny one-liners. The only lackluster boss is the very first one, being a bit lame in comparison to even the grunts later in the game, but other than that, they are all excellent.
The multiplayer has tons of options for every aspect of your loadout. I have still found new ways to play after 5 years. This game is more than deserving of your time.

Maybe the story is a little predictable and lackey, some of the characters are not that compelling, but it does deliver a nice execution of it. The game is HIGHLY engaging with creative action, the whole use of titans and the weapons, the level design and more. The main highlights in the presentation are the explosion effects and many of the fights execution, since, as I wrote before are very creative. If there is another issue with the game is that there are not many titans to play with and they are all look the same with many of the same weapons that can make them a bit repetitive. But, again, the execution of it is nice by connecting it to the main plot.
At the end: this is an amazing game that is very unlucky that not a lot of people played or heard of, especially with that stupid decision if E. A. But, again, at least there are other people like me that can HIGHLY recommend you playing it. It does have some minor problems with the story, characters and the titans are not very creative, but they are all minor problems comparing to that gem!

This game is so close to perfect its unreal, unlike its predecessor, Titanfall 2 has a single player campaign. Its also for PS4 this time around, although I'm reviewing this from my xbox 1 experience. The campaign is short only 6 hours, but its full of jaw dropping action, stunts, wall running and boost jumping fun! You are rifleman Jack cooper, after your commanding officer is KIA, you must take control of his titan(mech) BT-7274, a loving, funny and all around awesome buddy. Its up to you both to team up, and save the universe. Multiplayer is amazing once again with its fast paced, fluid and 60fps greatness. Tons of customization and modes to choose from. Leveling up is nice and easy, 6 different titan loadouts to choose, plenty of weapons and abilities to unlock. Plus in the near future, EA has insured us that all DLC and maps will be FREE OF CHARGE! so get out there and rent it, buy it cause this game is 1 of a kind!
Having been a Titanfall veteran from the beginning, I was hesitant what they would do with a campaign, or the new titans, or pilots, or anything in general, but Respawn did not disappoint. The campaign, although short, tells a gripping story with many unique aspects put in that led me to play through the campaign more than once. The multiplayer, however, is even better. One of my favorite additions is sliding, which although doesn't sound like much on its own, makes the game's already excellent movement system even more fluid. All of the new abilities, the weapons, the grenades, all feel like real additions ad give one a lot more choice for finding the perfect play style than other games. And the titans... I originally thought only have 6 titans with limited customization was a bad idea, but upon using them, I find it to be much more fun, as you get to choose one that perfectly fits your play style, and also know how to deal with what you are going against. Overall, it is rare for a sequel to improve on the original in every way, but this is a rare exception. 10/10
