This started out promising, but the longer it has gone on, the less enamored I have become. It does seem to highlight and fairly accurately represent how camping in Japan is done (don't believe me, go watch some Japanese campers on YouTube), and they do try to teach camping skills, but it's just really lacking in areas. The animation is poor, the constant reactions to drinking and eating are over the top and tiresome, and the unnecessarily introduced drama just hurts the show. And while I like seeing some of the equipment and the uses, the "drama" between the MCs and sub-characters becomes a turnoff.
I'm on episode 11 and just found out there are going to be 24 episodes total. How? Way TOO long with way TOO much bad animation.
They also use the actual manufacturer names of the equipment, and it seems like there was heavy sponsorship in this anime. That may just be how I see it, but I don't need the "commercials" for the equipment.
