I have never seen a Bangladeshi movie like this before! From start to finish-drama, romance, revenge, violence, twists-everything is presented flawlessly. From sound design to storytelling, every aspect is top-notch.
I have never seen a Shakib Khan movie like this before. Honestly, I'm not usually a big fan of his films, but this one completely changed my perception. He has taken his acting to the next level. I've watched all of Raihan Rafi's other movies, but none of them impressed me this much. This movie not only fulfilled my expectations but went far beyond them.
I couldn't find a single flaw to criticize. The story, acting, and overall execution make this a film you simply shouldn't miss in the cinema hall. It's also perfectly suitable to watch with family.

Undoubtedly, Tandob, directed by Raihan Rafi and starring Shakib Khan, is this Eid's most discussed and popular film in Bangladesh. The story, screenplay, acting, and videography are all extraordinary, making the movie capable of holding the audience's attention from beginning to end.
The movie's plot is quite engrossing, and several intriguing twists have elevated the cinema to a new level. In particular, the comedy scenes and dialogues bring the movie to life. The thrill and drama amidst the humor keep the audience engaged throughout.
Acting: Shakib Khan is truly unique for such a challenging role. It's difficult to find any flaws in his performance from start to finish. In every frame, he was heroic and portrayed the character's depth exceptionally well.
Jaya Ahsan was superb in her role. "She just nailed it." -This phrase truly defines her performance.
Although many did not initially receive Sabila Nur well before the movie's release, critics praised her after the song from the Lichur Bagane was released. Her acting in the film showed maturity and confidence.
Dr. Ejaz Sir, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Afzal Hossain, and other experienced actors enriched the movie with their skillful acting. And Siam Ahmed, who played Arman Mansoor, delivered an absolutely outstanding performance-a "fan-favorite." Technical Aspects: The cinematography and editing were highly professional and visually stunning. The cinematic beauty was noticeable in every scene. The sound design and background score were also appropriate and created an excellent atmosphere.
Songs: Compared to other Dhallywood films, very little screen time was spent on songs in this movie. Although the two songs released before the film's premiere received mixed reactions from the audience, they fit well with the film's narrative. However, the romantic song that has yet to be released is personally my favorite.
All in all, this film proves that Dhallywood is now ready to challenge Bollywood and other popular industries.
Tandob 2 has sparked audience curiosity with an excellent cliffhanger at the end. The presence of Afran Nisho hints at the plot for the future Tandob 2. However, it seems unlikely that psychopathic characters like Nisho (aka Surongo Masud) or Siam (aka Arman Mansoor) combined will be able to give Mikhail Shakib Khan a tough fight in Tandob 2. Nevertheless, it is hoped that Tandob 2 will surpass its predecessor with a new story, excitement, and blend of acting. Raihan Rafi can be trusted to that extent.
If you want to watch a modern, professional, and distinct Bengali cinema, Tandob should not be missed. It is undoubtedly a movie worth watching in the theater.
Ultimately, Tandob is not just a movie; it is a very bold and groundbreaking step for Dhallywood towards creating a movie universe.

First of all, hats off to director Raihan Rafi for daring to attempt such a bold and politically charged narrative in Tandob. This isn't just another action film-this is Dhallywood's first proper political action thriller, and it deserves recognition for venturing into territory rarely explored in Bangladeshi cinema.
Yes, there are many political thrillers in other industries, but Tandob is different-this is our story, a Bangladeshi story, grounded in the struggles and issues that every Bangladeshi can relate to. The film fearlessly dives into dark and disturbing themes: from Aynaghor (iron cells), to the unholy alliance of political leaders and corporate mafias, to the youth job crisis-topics that hit close to home.
Technically, the film impresses. The color grading, background score, non-linear storytelling, and action sequences are all commendably executed. While the first half is a bit slow, it never feels boring-it allows the story and tension to build gradually. But once the second half kicks in, prepare yourself. The twists and turns are sharp, and most importantly-unpredictable. Unlike many thrillers where twists can be guessed halfway through, Tandob keeps you on edge until the end. Also both Shakib Khan and Joya Ahsan delivered strong performances
Some people are calling it a copy of Jawan. Honestly, I doubt their film sense. If we go by that logic, then Jawan is also inspired by Money Heist-hostage gangs, female police, mastermind-romance dynamic-it's all there. So calling Tandob a copy is not only unfair, it's lazy. Constructive criticism is important, but spreading negativity without nuance helps no one.
That said, I do have constructive feedback: the song placements could've been better, and the post-credit scene felt too similar to the "Rolex-style" reveals from other franchises. A more original touch there could've made the ending more powerful.
But overall, it was a refreshing and thrilling experience. After a long time, I felt proud to watch a film that tells our own story, using our own voice, and not shying away from portraying uncomfortable truths.
We need more films like Tandob-films that take risks, that challenge the norm, and that dare to reflect reality.
Finally, "Tandob" is more than worth watching-it's a step forward for Bangladeshi cinema. Don't miss it.

Watching this movie on the theatre has been an amazing experience indeed. Shakib Khan has been mind-blowing as usual through his tremendous acting skill.
Other actors-actresses have been brilliant as well, especially Jaya Ahsan.
The plot is wonderful and keeps you engaged throughout the movie. Raihan Rafi's signature twist at the end will enthrall you for sure. There were little lapses in the first half but the second half was truly out of the world!
The most amazing part is its BGM. Totally world class background music by Arafat Nidhi which increases the appeal of the movie even more.
All in all, this is a complete Bengali Commercial Movie package.

Megastar Shakib Khan's one of the best performances to date and the best movie of Director Raihan Rafi, undoubtedly. The Third Back-To-Back Industry Hit Loading For Megastar Shakib Khan.
Without Spoiler:
This is a heist and revenge action thriller. In the first half, they took time and built the story and characters so powerfully that the second half became more exciting and impactful. The two female leads are Jaya Ahsan and Sabila Nur. Jaya Ahsan did a great job, and her character was powerful. This is Sabila Nur's debut film, and she did a tremendous job as a love interest of Shakib Khan. All the other cast were impactful and made this movie a complete banger. There are two big cameos which signal Taandob 2 and Raihan Rafi's Gangster Universe.
The plot was fast and engaging; it will catch your attention immediately and take you on a roller-coaster ride.
