One of the best if not the best 45 minutes of cooking documentary
I havent reviewed anything on imdb in over 10 years. This episode of chef's table: legends featuring José Andrés compelled me to break this silence. I cant honestly remember if a cooking program has ever touched my inner core like this. This episode is masterfully edited and directed. It portrays José Andrés as a captivating, philosophical, philantropical, heartful and adventurous personality. José Andrés manages to give the viewer several ingenious insights about cooking and its connectedness with every aspect of humanity. My favorite one is probably how he interprets crunchiness as an ingredient, rather than just a sensation. José Andrés is inspirational and has through this episode changed just the tiniest bit how I look at food.
