Touched by an Ángel

Or at least one of. Hard to compare it to the Getaway ot Born Free because those were the final episodes of the seasons, so I guess I'll have to see how this season wraps up to make up my mind. But anyway, this episode just blew my mind. 45 minutes of pure tension, hadn't been so invested in an episode of a tv show for a looooong time. An absolute emotional rollercoaster with a MASSIVE cliffhanger for the finale. PLEASE GOD DON'T LET THEM SCREW UP THE FINALE.

Been waiting all week for this and i feel so lucky to say they did not disappoint. No major spoilers just IMMEDIATELY WATCH THIS its genuinely one of the best episodes in all of dexter not just resurrection. They have everything set up for a perfect season finale i know this wont be a new blood THIS WONT BE NEW BLOOD.. NEXT WEEK THEY'LL MAKE DEXTER HISTORY WITH A HIGH AH RATED SEASON FINALE.

Throughout the entire 47 minutes this episode lasted I was on the edge, every scene with Dexter, Harrison, Angel, Charlie and Prater was so incredibly tense.

And the way it ended? Incredible, the writers of this show really stepped up, all probably because of Clyde Philips which was the original writer of the show in seasons 1-4. Every minute was incredible, easily a 10/10, honestly one of the better TV episodes in modern television and definitely this year.

Episode 9 just delivered one of the most gut-wrenching, incredible episodes of Dexter ever. This is in my opinion, a top 3 episode of all 10 seasons of the mainline story. "Touched by an Ángel" will be talked about for years to come and remembered for its heartbreaking greatness.

I am left in awe of how Resurrection has given us some of the BEST overall episodes of Dexter ever. This one will undoubtably be considered top 5 by most.

This latest episode of Dexter: Resurrection is nothing short of an absolute masterpiece - not only the best episode of Dexter ever made, but one of the finest episodes of television in recent memory.

From start to finish, the tension was razor sharp, the writing airtight, and the character work absolutely brilliant. Every moment felt purposeful, building toward an unforgettable climax that delivered both emotional weight and shocking intensity. The cinematography was stunning, perfectly capturing the darkness of Dexter's world while giving us glimpses of his fragile humanity.

Michael C. Hall delivers what might be his strongest performance as Dexter to date. The layers of conflict - predator and protector, monster and man - have never been more gripping. The supporting cast only elevated the story further, grounding the episode in raw emotion while fueling the escalating suspense.

This isn't just great television for Dexter fans; it's a defining example of what peak prestige drama looks like. If the series can maintain this level of brilliance, Dexter: Resurrection may well carve its place among the all-time greats.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is simply biased, this is peak television.
