Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze

Yuu Ayase, the son of a successful actress, attends an elite academy. The problem is he is far from elite. After his mother's death he is taken in by the Mikadono family... this means he ends up living with three sisters who are among the school's top pupils. Kazuki, an up and coming actress; Niko, a martial artist and Miwo, a progidy in the game of Shogi. As their father is always away he lives alone with them. At first they are less than pleased with his arrival but he cooks, cleans and generally makes their lives better and they grow to realise he is helping them do well in their chosen fields.

This is a fairly typical harem anime; that doesn't stop it being a lot of fun though. The characters are likeable and their activities provide some good laughs. Character designs and animation are decent and there is less fan service that many examples of the genre feature. The ending is fairly open; hopefully we'll be getting another season at some point. Overall I'd say this is worth watching if you enjoy the genre.

When I watch an anime, there's usually a general rule of setting up something good within the first 3 episodes. For me, I almost called it quits on the first episode!!! The way it was starting, it started to feel like just another story of a main character with NO backbone being pushed around by anyone and everyone. Listen I don't mind those stories sometimes, but when the advantage is ridiculous for literally everyone BUT the mc, while he's good at absolutely nothing. It just feels less like a struggle and more like they force you to pity this person.

However, even though it started off with him getting judged by everyone who could do things he couldn't, he was actually more dependable and useful than we thought!! Very deceptive lol but I like that shift, he's not just a nobody background insert character that comes with almost every bottom of the barrel harem. The sisters all grew on me too!!! They all had their little arcs with him, and their sour attitudes changed for the better. He enriched their lives in a way where it doesn't feel like it was just a cheap moment stitched together to give them a nice moment, it felt genuine every time.

In conclusion, I had a great time with "Dealing With the Mikadono Sisters is a Breeze", and I really hope it gets a second season!!!

Really a good anime with some wholesome moments in it. Needs to watch something good, heartwarming, feel good, funny and "The Quintessential Quintuplets" like, then this is the show. Needed more romance chemistry moments between everyone, Can't wait to see who the Main character ends up with. Can't wait for the Season 2. First I thought the Main character was the purple hair girl 😅.

(10+) This rom-com anime checks off all the boxes in some ways but is completely different in many others. The male protagonist is portrayed as being more feminine than the actual sisters. They are all either physically, intellectually, or socially way above him, but he becomes the glue that holds them all together as a family. I'm pretty much on the fence about the role reversals, but I must say for some reason these episodes went by SO fast for me! I rarely get wrapped up in an anime so much that I am surprised when it ends, but this anime did it to me multiple times! The plot and pacing were superb, and each of the sisters had several episodes to shine. I thought a secondary character stole the show, even though she was only in the last 3 or 4 episodes (the rival to the genius sister) and I hope if there is a second season we see more of her. I recommend this series!

The anime captivated me from beginning to end. I love the sweet little moments and how the characters develop. I really hope there will be a second season. I'll check every week to see if there's any news :p If necessary, I'll get the manga even if I'm actually saving up for something else xd I can definitely recommend the anime ^^
